Birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji
Guru Nanak Dev Ji is born in Rai Bhoi di Talwandi (present-day Nankana Sahib, Pakistan). From a young age he questions religious orthodoxy and begins spreading a message of one God and the equality of all human beings.
Even as a child, Guru Nanak demonstrated deep spiritual sensitivity and a refusal to accept the divisions of caste and religion that marked his time. His life would become the foundation of a new path — one rooted in devotion, service, and the oneness of God.
