Gurbani Kirtan, Gatka and Langar brought the Windsor-Essex community together for the annual Khalsa Day Parade.

The annual Khalsa Day Parade, also known as the Nagar Kirtan, took place in downtown Windsor on May 18, 2025. Program elements were Gurbani Kirtan, Gatka (Sikh martial art) and Langar.
Tourism Windsor Essex listed the event at Riverfront Festival Plaza from 10 AM to 5 PM. AM800 reported downtown road closures from 11:45 AM to 2:30 PM along the parade route, which returned to Festival Plaza.
Route per AM800: Riverside East (Glengarry to Caron), Caron south to University West, University east to Bruce, Bruce north to Riverside West, then east to Glengarry.
